Well, it has been two weeks already since the last ultrasound... Do you think we went to any of the previous places? Of course not! Well, we went to this international clinic for a checkup before trying to get pregnant, but we didn't do any ultrasounds there. It is very clean, lots of fancy equipment, but it cost more than the others (although it is still cheap at about $12!) We came at 4pm and nobody was there, all of the nurses were looking very bored. So we just paid our money and went right inside. This was a nice change from the other places were we had to wait one or two hours even when we come at the right time...
The doctor really new what she was doing, and they can even record a video to give you on vcd. But we found out that Katie was being naughty again, she turned back to have her head up! We could not get a good picture of her face because of her position. The doctor said that maybe if the baby is too big, it can not turn back down, so Thao might have to do an operation. But since we paid but could not get a good picture, we can come back next week for free to try again and check if the baby has turned.
Of course now Thao is really worried if she will have to do an operation. After reading for so many weeks about natural birth, now she has to prepare for something else. But really I think it is still too soon to know for sure, there is still 3 or 4 weeks left before the due date...
Due Date: Feb 28, 2010 (based on weeks) OR Feb 20, 2010 (based on current baby weight)
Gestational Age: 36 weeks (since LMP)
Weight: 3200g (+400g in two weeks)
Katie already weighs as much as me when I was born!
i really salute to you , always change gynae,we dont practise here, usually stick to one or 2, that all and everythin is the package after week 12 or 16. If there isnt package, the cost likes a bomb...

Yes, Its French hospital and that seems the best hospital in HN, thats why its expensive. And we already paid them with package is 770$ since I was pregnant 28w, but its not mean u can come there to check anytime. You only can come check with about 4 times, that is all. And if you wanna go that hospital to check extra u have to pay about 25$ each time. And here see other doctor from outside is much more cheaper, only 6$ for ultrasound 2D, about 10$ for 4D... Thats why i can go see different doctor every time. And that is good too coz sometime one doctor cant tell you right, but other doctor says something else...

ReplyDeleteoops u paid for the package and yet only 4 times which is very different over here.. Well, we stick to one and the package is fr week 12 or 16 till you give birth, of course they hv schedule for you..anyway yea not to worry, i hv my children all by c-section..
Of course still hope for a natural birth if possible and the fee is lesser. Take care mum to be ...
OH really? all by c-section? Why? You chose that or something wrong so the docter asked you to do c-section?
