Wedding and Birthday

On June 13th we went to a wedding in Thao's hometown for her highschool friend. The bride lives very far from the groom in another province, so he had to wake up at 2am to go pick up the bride!







It was very hot that day, but still a lot of fun with all of Thao's highschool friends




Toasting the groom. The guy next to me was drunk and kept talking to me all day, but it gave me a good chance to practice my Vietnamese ;))




Wow, you can see how long my hair is! I think it is longer than Thao's now!

I helped out in the store too! I sold some Ajinomoto to a customer... Actually Thao's mom wasn't there, so I had to run back to the house to ask how much it was, then I could sell it! ;))




It was my birthday that day, so my new family prepared a feast for me. I watched how my brother cooked the big fish:

1. Beat the fish on the head with a stick
2. Shove the stick deep up the fish's mouth
3. Put the stick in the ground, so the fish is hanging straight up
4. Put a lot of hay around the fish
5. Light it on fire and try not to feel bad when you see the fish flapping around
6. Let it smoke for 10-15 minutes or so

It was verrry good!

Thao thought it would be a good idea to give the baby some cake.... uh oh!







I only hold babies when they are cleaned up!! :)




The next day we went to Khoang Xanh resort in Ba Vi to go swimming with Chip and her friends.




Well, the kids went swimming anyway... Thao went swimming for 5 minutes and then saw it was very dirty and full of seaweed and spent the next 30 minutes in the shower! And after we got home, Chip's Mom has almost an hour to shower for Chip. (Chip in green swimming suite)







After that we went to visit #4 sister at her new house. Tom and Father Vinh.




He wants my coca cola.







The next day we went to Ao Vua, where we had our wedding photoshoot.







I was surprised to see these pools here, I have been to Ao Vua so many times, but never came up to this part :)




Of course, we met lots of Thao's family there... At the beginning Thao thought they were just the guests, but then one of those guys found out that Thao was there so they came and introduce themselves to Thao... Oh you know what, they are all Thao's family but just coz Thao didn't come back to her hometown much, they didn't know each other unti now.

The new hotel they are building looks very nice. Even the shops have all been fixed up

Hic hic, feel so saddd... I didnt know i look so short till i see this pictures. I just higher than my niece Chip 9 year old a lillbit... but I love that for sure Chip will be alot taller than her aunt Thao..;))

Must be allergy

...So, after a week or 10 days or something with a lot of cream that we bought from the pharmacy and with lot of poison to kill ants because we thought it was all ants or mosquitoes that bit Kyle like the pic we showed. But now it seems we totally wrong. Kyle has allergies.

He was always complaining that it was ants or mosquitoes that bit him while he was sleeping but why strange that I also sleep on the bed too but I'm always fine? I told him so many times that it can't be ants or mosquitoes... and u know what he says? *I'm sweet so they just bite me*, hahaaa...

For sure he is allergic now, but we don't know exactly yet what gives him allergies. We are trying so hard to notice what are the new things we buy these day like food/drink, or anything new....

1, Maybe coz of the kill ants/mosquito spray??? Every night before we go to bed he sprays it in the bedroom even we know that smell is not good for sleeping... But seems can't be right? Coz he already started to have some bumps before we bought it. Anyway we never use it anymore.
2, Maybe coz of the ant poison food we bought and put around on the ground??? I don't know if it is that, but at as long as we just think it must be one of the reasons Me and KYLE very quick go to clean up house at 11 pm and try to mop very carefully where we had put ant poison....:(( hehee.
3, Or maybe the new energy drink called *Sting*??? I don't know either but he stopped drinking it now.
4, One thing we still keep thinking it must be the reason is the laundry fabric softener... Coz of last few day we find out that as soon as Kyle wears new clothes he will get new bump, exactly the same bumps on his back, legs and shoulder... We think it must be softener soap but not really coz we started that soap long time ago and it was always fine...
5, The last reason is must be in the air has something that gives Kyle allergies....
6, ONE more the most right reason make him allergy that i think is the weather is too hot in summer in VN and makes my Kyle get that sick....

Anyway, we still don't know what reason makes Kyle allergic but these days he always stays naked, he wears nothing 24/7... It's funny when I see him run around like that in the house but better he must stay away from clothes... coz i can see the new bumps don't come much since he wears nothing... Hahaa...Its work. So from now he also can't go out...:)) , hehee.. And something funny that, sometime when i cook something i always open the front door but he doesn't notice that... and just walks around naked while outside there are always some girls waiting for elevator there... Hahaha....

Anyway, Kyle still takes allergy medicine and puts cream everyday, he is getting better... Anyway good that it is not AH1N1...;)) Until yesterday 8 people in VN have this virus, most of them come from US and Australia
