Of course, the first thing we had to do was to buy some ice cream!

What I hate most in the world is monkies dressed up in human clothes... They look like cute little children, only with sharp claws and fangs. Watch out!!

Near to our apartment is the Ba Vi store where they sell milk. We had to show Chip that her hometown was famous!

Attack of the killer ants!

Lately we are having a big problem with red ants in our house... So many times we found that if we left any food or drinks out, we would come back and it would be covered in ants. And after trying several different containers for the sugar that somehow weren't ant-proof, we now keep the sugar in the fridge. And yes, now we saw some ants come in the fridge, but at least it seems to be too cold for them!

Anyways, a few days ago I got up and saw a long trail of ants. So of course I killed like fifty of them with my fingers, but somehow then I got busy and forgot to wash my hands... Uh oh!!




This is what happened to my shoulder when I scratched it with ant poison on my fingers. It is a huge gash about 10cm long. When it first appeared, there was a white raised scratch mark about 1cm wide, surrounded by red. Now that it has been two days, it is starting to look better (can't you tell?? :P)




I also scratched my belly after killing those pesky ants. Ooops! It looks like I got attacked by a bear or something, but no, just tiny ants...







The ants must have put a bounty out for me after the previous day's massacre, because yesterday after lying down on the couch, I got up and saw an ant crawling on my arm. Wait a minute.... why is my back so itchy now? ... let's look in the mirror.... OH MY GOD!!!

Ok, no more mister nice guy!!!! We finally went out and bought some ant poison to spread around the house. And of course some much needed bite medicine for me :(

Thao says it must be from the hot weather. So now we moved the computer into the bedroom, since it is the only room with a working air conditioner. Yep, we have a three bedroom apartment, and now two bedrooms aren't being used at all!! Good thing that Thao's neice Chip is coming to stay with us for a week on Sunday :D

again go to hair cut

A week ago, ONCE again i went to hair cut.
OMG, just a few months ago my hair was so long and made curly in my wedding pictures. And now i look so different in short brown hair... At the beginning i just wanted to make it a bit brown but my hair is so soft so the color was easy to be like that...too blonde,,:))



Hihihi... my hubby's hair is darker than mine now...;)). Everytime when i look at the mirror i think somehow i look like my sister Muriah's hair when she first came to VN.



Kyle seems to like my new hair with this color even its too bright ...hihii...



Front loosk like that, but behind is a bit longer... Should i go to hair cut one more time?;))



Yeah, behide it looks like that and u can see the color is tooooooo bright...:)), Oh no but i still want it shorter:D

One more time... Kyle was my hair cutter... He trimmed behind to make it shorter (i shouldnt show how it short now, hehehe)... Oh seems its good for hot weather in VN now.... But you know, if mention about hot summer in Hanoi just make me wanna shave all my hair.... Of course i asked Kyle so many times to let me to but he said NOOOOOO....LOL.
